Long time no see, Refugees!

It’s been a long time, Refugees. Much more to come. But after a busy summer, which included performance and lots of transitions, time had seemed to extend, stretch and amplify at the same time. I’m working on a few projects. First, getting the rewards out to the amazing posse of backers who ushered our campaign to get us out to Los Angeles through the door and beyond. There is a novel in the works, a reprint of the Creative Writing/Public Good article I wrote last year and an interview with Mary Bush, the author of Sweet Hope. a novel about the Sunnyside work plantation that imported Italian immigrants to work alongside sharecropping African-Americans in the early 20th century. A brutal but hopeful book. Stay tuned and it’s nice to be back.
